Natalini Flowers by Crispy

Crispy is a very special person in addition to being an extremely talented florist.  I stumbled into her shop several years ago while looking for the closest flower shop to purchase a bouquet for a co-worker.  She and her staff were so welcoming and helpful - making a beautiful custom arrangement on the spot for our price point.  And then she actually helped me walk it back to my office herself!  Who does that nowadays?

Since then I've returned several times whenever an occasion calls for flowers, and I have always been wowed by her artistry and generosity.  She has a loyal customer for life - I would never go anywhere else for floral arrangements, large or small.

If you want to see her and the shop in person be prepared for a little alley in SOMA that would be extremely questionable late at night but is fine to visit during the day.   It is a treat to watch her work if you don't mind the slightly sketchy neighborhood!

Bell & Trunk Flowers

I've never reviewed a florist, but I had to say a few comlimentary words regarding Bell & Trunk Flowers after having such a great experience.

In need of sending flowers the same day, I tried calling Bell & Trunk a few times throughout the day and finally was able to get in touch with Vanessa around 3:30pm.  With very little direction other than an estimated price point, Vanessa happily agreed to take care of it and deliver the flowers later that evening.  Vanessa called me later to let me know the person was not at home so she would deliver an hour later - I was so appreciative I received an update call.  I mean who does that these days!  As promised, an hour later they were delivered.

I saw pictures of the flowers and they looked so amazing.  The bouqet was tastefully arranged, fresh, and quite sizeable given what I paid for them.  For the price, service, and quality, Bell & Trunk Flowers will definitely be my go to service in SF.

A Bed of Roses Florist

After seeing the reviews on yelp I decided to give Pat a try.  Flowers are a bit intimidating to me, I hardly know a carnation from a rose.  To further the issue, my girlfriend is an interior designer who took classes in flower arrangements.  I left the decisions to the professionals and GF was duly impressed--Not something that would happen (as much) from Safeway flowers.  This is a great choice for a special occasion.  These are not the cheapest flowers you can find--but people definitely notice the difference.

Pat went above and beyond to clear up a misunderstanding on the phone that was probably my own fault.  She obviously wants very satisfied customers.

Union Square Flowers

I can't believe we found this flower stand, almost too good to be true. It's always got gorgeous roses and other kinds of flowers for amazing price. My husband just picked up half a dozen red roses for valentine's day and they are amazing. We brought our own vase, so the shop arranged the flowers for us nicely and put tons of green in there. for only $27, you can't beat that any where.

My husband used to pay $11/rose for those Ecuador imported roses, but that shop got sold and the quality has gone down. so we were so surprised when we found these equally good roses at this stand for half of the price. We were sad when they disappeared after the construction started at Union Square, but later we found them again on market. check this place out, seriously!

Church Street Flowers

I don't live in town, so when I needed to have flowers delivered for a very important client party I searched until I found the florist with the most user-friendly website--and that was Church Street Flowers. But it didn't stop there. Once the order was placed (in literally under five minutes, easily and efficiently), I got a personal email from Brianna asking for more information about the party so that she could provide the best service possible. Once I explained the details, she wrote back with confidence that she'd see to it  that the flowers were delivered and stored appropriately for the party. In the age of electronic EVERYTHING, it was so refreshing to have someone reach out. I'll definitely use and refer Church Street Flowers every time, and I know I can trust them from across the country.
